Aeromine introduces its patented, innovative rooftop wind generator technology, which the Houston-based company says can generate up to 50% more energy than comparable solar solutions. The system consists of multiple motionless, silent units with a sleek, aerodynamic design that are installed along the edge of a building in the prevailing wind direction and amplify airflow at wind speeds as low as 5 m.p.h., similar to the wings of a race car. Each unit is designed to deliver 5 kW AC of power, which does not diminish over time. Aeromine’s team claims that their innovative technology, when combined with existing solar energy options, can generate 100% of a building’s on-site energy needs.
THE AEROMINE DIFFERENCE
Aeromine’s solution contrasts with current rooftop options, such as solar panels and old small wind turbines, which can only generate a limited amount of energy, require a large footprint and have a relatively short lifespan. According to the company, the newly introduced system generates up to 50% more energy than comparable solar solutions and uses the most powerful renewable energy source available.
Aeromine works in the most extreme weather conditions, generating power when energy needs are greatest. The system is silent and easy to install, making it a cost-effective and space-saving solution for on-site renewable energy. A single Aeromine unit provides the same amount of power as up to 16 solar panels. The system is designed for large buildings with flat rooftops such as industrial warehouses, data centers, corporate offices, and apartment buildings.
